A. I do. But I tend to specialize in hair more. If I do make up, I only do very natural soft make up and usually just for the bride.

Q. What is your ideal bridal hair?

A. My favorite kind of hair is the kind that is soft, romantic, subtle and messy. I love a bride that lets movement in her hair, that keeps things simple but elegant. Braids, twists, loops and knots are all part of my up do routine. So a bride that lets me play and is up for these kinds of things is my kind of bride.

Q. Do I need to have a lot of hair for you to do the kind of hair you do?

A. Not at all. A lot of my brides get nervous because they think they have thin brittle hair, but the truth is, product can make up for a lot. Not to mention the use of temporary extensions if needed.

Q. What should I do to prep my hair for my wedding day?

A. They say that “dirty hair” is the best for up dos but everybody’s version of “dirty” means complete different things. I usually tell my brides to wash the day of your rehearsal dinner and let the product from then stay for the wedding day. But if you’re still wanting to shower the morning of the wedding, thats no problem at all. I can create that same “second day” hair texture with product!
