Leah worked with Holly Hollon and Southern Stationery for her paper goods. Holly designed her pieces and Southern Stationery provided printing for her program and her letterpressed stationery. Simple and classic was the approach for the design of the paper. The save the date was a postcard with an image from their engagement in Highland Park with simple calligraphy on the front. A classic wreath logo was used throughout the suit using their first two initials. For the invitation we love how the use of color was incorporated and how this set the tone for her wedding. Leah’s favorite color is mint, so soft mint envelopes were located for the invite which looked lovely with the navy and gold. After hearing that Kalee was planning for “snow” to fall on Leah and Ben as they would leave the reception Holly added in some snow fall above the illustration of the chapel and also a wreath of greenery with touches of holly, just a few Christmas touches.
Brantley from Southern Stationery was so kind to work with Leah and Holly using Leah’s designs. She pressed a beautiful array of notecards and calling cards, using mint and navy ink on cotton paper. Southern Stationery offers an array of printing techniques and recently add their third press for letterpress work to the shop.
