A few thoughts from Courtney at Invision Events :: When I first decided to bring this team together for a shoot, I knew I wanted to do something super fun. My initial inspiration was to be bold, yet find a way to keep it traditional and romantic. I wanted a clean, crisp feel that wasn’t overly Valentine’s but still kept a cohesive aesthetic and thematic. I also knew I wanted to play up the color red. Don’t get me wrong, I swoon over all the neutrals and natural blush tones we are seeing in weddings now, but I also thrive on the right use of color.
I could not be more grateful for the professionals that helped me pull this together. CeCe Designs went totally outside of her comfort zone with the florals and gave me exactly what I was dreaming of, as well as Tammy Howell with hair and make-up. Avivi with The Refined Pen does just beautiful work and made me giddy with the whimsical heart shaped menus and oversized, personalized sign. The LaLa gown from Heidi Elnora was just perfect and the groom’s Theory suit from Saks Fifth Avenue was so dapper and chic. Event Rentals Unlimited and Graceful Tables truly outdid themselves with such beautiful pieces, I especially loved the gold flatware. And of course, bravo to Angela Blake Photography for capturing everything just right.
